This map shows its physical features and road network exceptionally well. The peninsula is also the home of various principalities, collectively known as the United Arab Emirates - Abu Dhabi, Bahrein, Dubai, Qatar, and other enclaves. In one sense, this is a regional map of this part of the Arabian peninsula, but it is also a picture of a part of the world very alien to what most of us take for granted. This is one giant travel adventure! Includes inset map of Dubai and Central Muscat.
