Miso Paste is a traditional Japanese seasoning made by fermenting rice, soybeans, and salt, with the help of the noble fungus koji (Aspergillus oryzae). It is characterised by a specific salty umami flavour, which perfectly enhances soups, sauces, and marinades. Additionally, it is one of the sources of protein and is also suitable for vegans.
